About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the department of political science and the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My research interests include American political institutions, federalism/intergovernmental relations, and separation of powers, with a particular interest in their effects on democratic stability.

Previously, I worked as an associate research scientist at NYU-Wagner and as a research project specialist at the RAND Corporation.

I am a founding member of the COVID Border Accountability Project (COBAP), an initiative that tracked country-level travel and migration policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. My work has appeared in JAMA Health Forum, Scientific Reports, and Scientific Data, and is forthcoming in The International Encyclopedia of Public Health. My current projects involve studies of perceived electoral integrity among voters, heterogeneity of treatment effects in state-level policy analyses, and state policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I received my B.A. in political science and mathematics from Emory University in 2021.
